Istanbul Agop Cymbals
Celebrating 30 years in business in 2010, Istanbul cymbals are hand crafted in Turkey. The Istanbul company was formed by cymbalsmiths that worked at the original Zildjian K cymbal factory before it closed. Istanbul cymbal series include: Traditional (reflecting classic Turkish approach and sound), Custom (including a variety of series to provide a wide palette of music and complex sounds) and special endorser series.
Artist series include: Mel Lewis, Lenny White, Matt Chamberlain, Cindy Blackman, Idris Muhammad, Joey Waronker, Agop signature.
New is the Xist series which is made from Istanbul’s own B20 bronze formula, but is machine formed to provide drummers with the famous Istanbul sound at an extremely affordable price!
